Email Marketing for Photographers | Part 3 | Building Your Email List

In the first and second installments of this series, we talked about why email marketing is important and showed you how to  start using email marketing to grow your business.  In this final video, StickyAlbums founder Nate Grahek and Frederick Van Johnson discuss effective ways to build your email list.

 

Research shows that the amount of money you make from email marketing is directly correlated to the size of your list.  Nate and Frederick point out that this is only true if your list is relevant.

How to build a list

Giveaways are great ways to build your email list.  Potential clients are happy to give their email address for something that they perceive as being valuable.  Offering them a guide to local wedding venues, makeup tips or wall display guides are just a few things that you can offer.

Contests are another great way to build your list.  Rafflecopter makes contests easy to run and more importantly, it makes it easy for participants to spread the word about your contest with social media outlets like Twitter and Facebook.

Gravity Forms makes is easy to embed forms on WordPress sites.

Lead Pages  gives you the ability to create landing pages quickly and easily.
