March 2017 Product Update

by Nate Grahek

Our team has been hard at work and we’re excited to share a few of our recent additions we’ve released in StickyFolios.  The addition of Google calendar sync, a revamped text editor, and a new trash bin has made StickyFolios more user friendly and efficient.  We’ve also added support for ProShow Web.

We got a makeover to make it easier to find your way around Folios

If you’ve logged into your StickyFolios account lately, you have probably noticed that we got a makeover courtesy of our lead design wizard, Brandon. The Builder is more streamlined and easier than ever to use.  Additional in-builder walk-throughs designed for new users will help you find your way around and create Folios faster than ever.

New contextual text editor gets out of your way but is there when you need it

It’s easier than ever to edit text.  Just highlight the text you want to change and the text editor will open.  You can add links to blog posts, pages on your website, social media, etc… Another cool feature is that we’ve added a button to remove formatting when you paste in formatted text from an external source.

Prevent double booking with Calendar Collision

For those of you who have Booking enabled in your account, you probably know that the purpose of Booking Pages is to simplify your life with automated booking.  While it’s done that,  we’re working to make it even more user friendly and reliable.  You can now connect your booking pages directly to Google Calendar and the Calendar Collision feature will ensure that only times when you are available will show up.   This means that you no longer have to worry about double booking!

Never accidentally delete a Folio again

If you’ve ever accidentally deleted a Folio or wished you could take one offline without losing it forever, you’ll appreciate this new feature.  With the click of a button, you can now move Folios that you are no longer using to the trash without deleting them.  Then, you can delete them permanently or restore them at a later time.

Note that trashed Folios will be taken offline (and for those who have limited accounts, won’t count against your quota).

Video embed has added support for ProShow Web

You asked for it and now it’s here.  StickyFolios already supported videos embeded from Animoto, Vimeo, Wistia, and YouTube. Now ProShow Web users can use video to engage visitors and wow clients.

Let us know what you think of the new features and as always, if you have suggestions or features you’d like to see, let us know.  Our team is always looking for ways to make StickyFolios the very best marketing platform for photographers.
